Brainerd High School drawing students worked on "concern cards" Thursday during their art class with instructor Leah Anderson. Their assignment was to create cards that expressed their most serious concerns.

The cards addressed a variety of topics, including school funding, environment, homelessness, health care and recycling. The cards will be sent to area legislators, senators and the president.

Some of the cards were displayed Thursday on a table in the Brainerd High School art room.
