Firefighters respond

The Brainerd Fire Department was called at 9:52 a.m. Monday to East Gull Lake because of a cut gas line off Birch Island Road.
Firefighters were called at 2:38 p.m. to the Early Childhood Family Education center, 311 10th Ave., for what turned out to be a false alarm.
