Rita A. Kummet
Rita A. Kummet, 76, Brainerd, died Wednesday, Nov. 27, 2002, at her home.
She was born Dec. 26, 1925, in Greenwald to William and Anna (Ellenbacher) Hollenhorst. She was a member of St. Andrew's Catholic Church, St. Joseph's Guild, Kahautek Bowling League, EOM Minister at St. Joseph's Medical Center, Crosier Apostolate, and social concerns chairperson of the St. Andrew's community.
Survivors include her husband, Lloyd; two sons, Dennis Kummet, Fargo, N.D., and Rick Kummet, Brainerd; two daughters, Beth Fahlstedt, Littleton, Colo., and Jan Kummet, Nisswa; a brother, Julius Hollenhorst, St. Cloud; and nine grandchildren.
Nine brothers died earlier.
Services will be 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at St. Andrew's Catholic Church in Brainerd with Father Seamus Walsh officiating. Burial will be in Evergreen Memorial Gardens.
Friends may call from 4-7 p.m. Monday, with parish prayers at 7 p.m., at Nelson-Doran Funeral Home in Brainerd and one hour before services Tuesday at the church.
Memorials are preferred to St. Francis School Endowment Fund or St. Clare's Monastery.
