STILLWATER (AP) -- A beer truck driver has been accused of helping take cases of beer from his employer's truck while making deliveries last month.

Donald Eugene Thibodeau, 26, New Richmond, Wis., was charged with felony theft in a complaint signed Thursday.

The complaint said that 15 minutes after Thibodeau made a phone call Oct. 17 while his truck was loaded with beer for the Oak Park Heights VFW, he unloaded at least 30 cases of Labatt Blue beer into a pickup truck that met his vehicle.

Ten cases of Rolling Rock and three cases of Labatt Blue Light were switched to the same pickup on Halloween, according to the criminal complaint filed in Washington County.

Thibodeau allegedly told a co-worker: "You're not supposed to see this. This is just my way of getting back the pay that I don't receive," the complaint said.
