Leona Shepard

PINE RIVER - Leona Shepard, age 65, of rural Pine River, passed away Friday, Nov. 25, 2005, at her home. She was born Nov. 9, 1940, in rural Pine River, to Leland and Leora Beavers.

She is survived by her husband, Michael; children, Mark Rice, Lorna Rice, Karl Rice, Loren Rice and Rocksan Orth; stepchildren, Theodore Shepard, Michael Shepard and Tammara Shepard; brothers, Roland Beavers, Van Beavers and Guy Beavers; sister, Greta Thompson; 25 grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Floyd.

Services will be 11 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 3, at Kline Funeral Home in Pine River with Pastor John Twiton officiating. Visitation will be Friday from 5-7 p.m. at Kline Funeral Home. Arrangements are with Kline Funeral Home, Pine River.
