Wolves derail Kings

MINNEAPOLIS (AP) -- Kevin Garnett had 20 points, 13 rebounds and 10 assists for his second triple-double of the season as the Minnesota Timberwolves snapped the Sacramento Kings' six-game winning streak with a 90-74 victory Wednesday night.

Gary Trent added 14 points and 10 rebounds and Raso Nesterovic had 10 points and 10 rebounds for the Wolves, who won for the fourth time in five games. The win was also Minnesota's second in nine games against teams with winning records.

Chris Webber had 19 points and 11 rebounds for Sacramento, which has lost nine of its last 10 games in Minnesota. Vlade Divac added 10 points and 10 rebounds.

The Kings, already depleted by injuries to Mike Bibby and Peja Stojakovic, got more bad news Wednesday. Hedo Turkoglu sprained his right wrist in the second quarter and could miss up to two weeks.

Turkoglu was injured when he drove the lane and landed hard on his right arm after colliding with Wolves forward Joe Smith with 10:42 left in the second. He was taken to a hospital for X-rays, which were negative.
