McGREGOR -- Margaret L. Anderson, 84, McGregor, died Wednesday, Nov. 27, 2002, at Riverwood HealthCare Center in Aitkin.
She was born Dec. 11, 1917, in Randolph, Iowa, to Luther and Cora Goodner Thomas. They moved to Missouri and then back to Iowa. She married Herman Culbert on Dec. 28, 1944. He died in 1953. She married Kenneth Paulson on July 20, 1955. He died in 1970. She married Iral Anderson on Dec. 15, 1979. He died in 1992. She was a volunteer with Senior Companions, McGregor Area Clothing Closet and the McGregor Food Shelf. She was a member of Grace Lutheran Church and was a board member of McGregor Area AARP. She was a McGregor area resident since 1980.
Survivors include two daughters, Linda Narveson, McGregor, and Kathy Carpenter, Waterloo, Iowa; two sons, John Culbert, Waterloo, and Lou Culbert, Minneapolis; a stepson, Terry Anderson, Buena Park, Calif.; two stepdaughters, Pat Uting, Waterloo, and Sally Stickfort, Arizona; 46 grandchildren; and 41 great-grandchildren.
Her three husbands; two sons, Herman and Paul; two stepdaughters, Joan and Betty; three great-grandchildren; and two brothers died earlier.
Services will be 2 p.m. Saturday at Grace Lutheran Church north of McGregor with the Rev. Dan Heath officiating. Burial will be Monday at Garden View Cemetery in Waterloo.
Friends may call one hour before services Saturday at the church.
