'Our Town' auditions scheduled

Auditions for "Our Town" will be held at 7 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 11, and Wednesday, Dec. 12, in the Chalberg Theatre on the Brainerd campus of Central Lakes College.

Director Patrick Spradlin asks those auditioning to prepare a one- to two-minute, memorized monologue. Readings from the script will also be a part of the audition.

"Our Town" is Thornton Wilder's Pulitzer Prize-winning play about life in a small New Hampshire town covering a 12-year period.

The play has roles for up to 30 people of various ages, including 10 principal roles. The director is seeking men and women between the ages of 18 and 70, two boys and two girls age 10-12.

The play will be performed Feb. 7-17 in Chalberg Theatre.
