BAXTER -- Two people were injured in a three-vehicle accident Wednesday on Highway 371, five miles north of Baxter.

The accident happened about 6:40 p.m., the State Patrol reported.

One driver, Christina Sanda, 19, Pine River, was treated at St. Joseph's Medical Center in Brainerd and released. The second driver, Michael Haight, 23, Watertown, S.D., was injured but not hospitalized.

The third driver, Darwin Hanson, 39, Brainerd, was uninjured.

Two hurt in Motley

MOTLEY -- Two people were injured in a single-vehicle accident Wednesday on Highway 10, four miles south of Motley.

The accident happened about 11:27 p.m., the State Patrol reported.

The injured, both passengers, were Renee Deluney, 17, Monticello, and Lawrence Deluney, 15, Monticello. They were treated at Greater Staples Hospital and released.

The driver, Christopher Howe, 23, Monticello, was not injured.
