Rivals are pulling for Florida State to knock off Florida

No. 2 Florida ((10-1) at No. 23 Florida State (8-3), 2:30 p.m., ABC

Florida is hotter than any team in the nation, still only No. 4 in the BCS standings, but getting the national title game won't be a problem if the Gators close with wins over Florida State and Alabama. A lot of one-loss schools are rooting for Florida State to win this week and then for Florida to beat Alabama next week in the SEC title game. Florida has won the last four in the series against Florida State by an average of 18.5 points.

No. 19 Oregon (8-3) at No. 17 Oregon State (8-3), 6 p.m., Versus

It's no stretch to say this is one of the biggest games in the history of Oregon State football, with the Beavers needing a win at home to secure their first Rose Bowl bid in 44 years. Oregon has more than a spoiler's role here, as the Ducks are playing for the best bowl they can get to - the Holiday. Oregon State will probably have to play the 112th Civil War without star freshman tailback Jacquizz Rodgers, who has a sprained left shoulder. The Beavers should, however, get injured quarterback Lyle Moevao back. Oregon hasn't won in Corvallis since 1996, and Oregon State seems to be on a destiny track.

No. 3 Oklahoma (10-1) at No. 11 Oklahoma State (9-2), 7 p.m., ABC

It's called the Bedlam game, but this year it could cause BCS mayhem too. If Oklahoma wins and ultimately forces a three-way tie in the Big 12 South Division with Texas and Texas Tech, the BCS standings will have to be used to determine which school will play Missouri on Dec. 6 for the Big 12 title in Kansas City, Mo. An Oklahoma State win probably will send Texas Tech to the Big 12 title game and leaves Texas home at 11-1 to hope for a back-door entry into the title game.

There's tiebreaking going on in the Heisman Trophy race too. Oklahoma quarterback Sam Bradford won his head-to-head against Texas Tech's Graham Harrell last week and probably is the front-runner- although Colt McCoy fans in Austin would argue.
