Schultz, Abrahamson win

DULUTH - Avalanche Racing team members Mike Schultz of Pillager and Kylie Abrahamson of Brainerd got off to high-flying starts in the Amsoil Duluth National last weekend.

Schultz captured a Pro Super Stock podium, was in the top five of the Pro Open National and qualified for the Winter X-Games.

Abrahamson dominated the Pro Women's division finishing first in both rounds and earned a first-place finish in the final.

Correction/Clarification

It was incorrectly listed in Sunday's All-Area volleyball top 10 list that Verndale's Jackie Finck had 83 blocks. It should have said Jackie Kern had 83 blocks.

Also Cathy Kempe was inadvertently left off the top 10 serving percentage. The Verndale setter finished with 94 percent. The Dispatch regrets the errors.
