Alex drops Warriors

ALEXANDRIA - Senior Jessica Bye scored the only goal for the Brainerd Warriors girl's hockey team in its 5-1 defeat at the hands of the Alexandria Cardinals Tuesday.

Bye's goal came at the 10:22 mark of the third period. Junior Ashlynn Windjue had 16 saves for the Warriors.

Head coach Rod Peltoma was not happy with his team's play Tuesday.

"We played very poorly and came out with no intensity," he said. "We just lacked any energy."
