The Staples-Motley Coaches Association will host a boys' basketball jamboree Saturday at the high school.
Admission is $4 for adults, and $2 for students. Games will be played as follows:

4:30 p.m., Princeton JV vs. Bemidji JV.
5 p.m., Princeton varsity vs. Bemidji varsity.

Girls' basketball jamboree at BHS
A girls' varsity basketball jamboree is scheduled Saturday at Brainerd High School.
1:15 p.m., Alexandria vs. Staples-Motley.
2:15 p.m., Rocori vs. Pequot Lakes.
3:15 p.m., Sartell vs. Crosby-Ironton, 3:15 p.m.
4:15 p.m., Brainerd vs. Sauk Rapids.
Weiss, Bobcats in NCAA playoffs
Brainerd High School graduate Mike Weiss and the Montana State Bobcats football team will play a first-round playoff game at the University of Northern Iowa 6:30 p.m. Saturday.
Weiss is a starter on special teams for the Bobcats, who won the Big Sky Conference title when they defeated Montana.
Wadena boxers compete at EGF
Three Wadena boxers scored victories at East Grand Forks Nov. 22.
DeWayne Steward, 152 pounds, scored a decision in the main event against Ivan Hudson of Winnipeg.
Aaron Oakland, 165, decisioned Mike Kozlowski of Winnipeg.
Wadena's Cody McManigle, 139, won a second-round referee stops contest against Brad Paristen of Belcourt, N.D.
Brandon Hall, 132, Wadena, lost a decision to Jesse Beach of Winnipeg.
T.J. Steward, 149, Wadena, was decisioned by Sheldon Martin of Belcourt, N.D.
T.J. Steward, McManigle and Hall will participate in the USA state tournament 7 p.m. Saturday at St. Cloud Civic Center.
Brainerd boxer to compete Saturday
Mike Moe, a 15-year-old Brainerd resident, will compete at 145 pounds in a USA Boxing tournament 7 p.m. Saturday at the St. Cloud Civic Center.
