Posted: Wednesday, November 27, 2002

Two area media personalities will be featured in the Rhythm of the Rails Old Tyme Radio Show, hosted by Peter Johnson and Jody Crowe, at 7 p.m. Saturday in the Franklin Junior High School auditorium.

David Allen Pundt, news director for KLKS, and Dan Hegstad, station manager for Lakeland Public Television, will confound the audience with their rendition of Abbott and Costello's "Who's on First."

Cast members will play different characters. The cast includes Sharon Hartley, Jill Evans, Rick Cole, Mary Barthel, Mike Gage and Stephanie White from the Brainerd/Baxter area; Dave Uhrich from Nisswa; Dave Anderson, Naomi Anderson and Erin Anderson from Pillager; Blenda Hagberg from Crosby; Lou Holker, Sarah Holker, Julie Holker, Annie Holker and Fil Kneeland from Hill City; and Jeremy Anderson, Lilah Crowe and Jim Mason from Grand Rapids.

Jim Mason and Renee Anderson from Pequot Lakes are the show's musicians. Grand Rapids native Regina Hill found or designed, as well as made 1930s costumes for the cast.

Tickets are $8 for adults and $5 for students.
