HUDSON, Wis. -- Ronald W. Zilka, 61, Hudson, Wis., died Thursday, Nov. 21, 2002, at his home.
He was born April 17, 1941, in Minneapolis to Mac and Genevieve (Heroux) Zilka. He graduated from Brainerd High School in 1959. He married Nancy Sandberg on July 21, 1962, in Brainerd. After graduating from the University of Minnesota in 1970, he worked as an accountant for Hamm's Brewery. In 1974, they moved to Crosslake where he was employed by Scorpion Snowmobiles. They moved to Wilton, Iowa, in 1981, where he worked for North Star Steel as an accounting manager. He was transferred to St. Paul in 1984 and was the shipping superintendent.
Survivors include his wife; a son, Stephen Zilka, Crosslake; a daughter, Kristine Greer, Hiram, Ga.; four grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and a sister, Barbara Christensen, Inver Grove Heights.
Services were at O'Connell Family Funeral Home in Hudson with Pastor Dennis Nelson officiating.
