Two Wadena boxers had bouts at Clearwater on Saturday.
Cody McManigle, 125 pounds, scored a decision over Jose Solis of Willmar.
T.J. Steward, at 147, lost a split decision to Josh Conrady of St. Cloud in the main event.
DeWayne Steward, 139, and 15-year-old Cody McManigle, 125, will enter the State Silver Gloves tournament at Brunette's Gym (1135 Arcade Street), St. Paul this weekend. Bouts are at 7:30 p.m. Saturday and 1 p.m. Sunday. Winners advance to the 4-state tournament at Sioux Falls, S.D.
The first Wadena home card is scheduled Dec. 29 at Wadena Armory.
