LITTLE FALLS -- Loretta B. Sanoski, 74, Little Falls, formerly of Flensburg, died Monday, Nov. 26, 2001, at St. Otto's Care Center in Little Falls.
She was born May 25, 1927, near Flensburg to Albert and Anna (Schipritt) Piekarski. She attended country school. She married Theodore L. Sanoski on May 21, 1947, in Flensburg. They lived in Culdrum Township until moving to Green Prairie Township in 1955. She worked at the Pine Edge Inn in the laundry area. She retired in 1990. She volunteered at Mary of Lourdes School as a kitchen aide until 1995. They moved to Little Falls in 1970 and since 2000, they lived at Pine Grove Manor. She was a member of Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church, Christian Mothers and the Little Falls VFW Auxiliary.
Survivors include her husband; five sons, Albert Sanoski, Superior, Wis., Ronald Sanoski, St. Paul, Jerry Sanoski, Pierz, Arnold Sanoski, Cold Spring, and David Sanoski, Little Falls; a daughter, Joan Doschka, Little Falls; eight grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; three brothers, Raphael Piekarski, Little Falls, Albert Piekarski, Bloomington, and Harry Piekarski, Grey Eagle; and four sisters, Marcella Piekarski, Little Falls, Francis Stangl, Pierz, Gen Zapzalka, Sobieski, and Ann Gallus, Big Lake.
Her parents; a brother, Richard Piekarski; and a granddaughter died earlier.
Services will be 11:30 a.m. Wednesday at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church in Little Falls with the Rev. Mark Innocenti officiating. Burial will be in the parish cemetery.
Friends may call from 9 a.m. until the time of services Wednesday at Shelley Funeral Chapel in Little Falls, with Our Lady of Lourdes Christian Mothers praying the rosary at 10:30 a.m. followed by the Little Falls VFW Auxiliary rites at 11 a.m.
