The Brainerd School Board got some good news Wednesday in the form of a 1981 school district audit report. The report showed favorable fund balances in most funds, with revenues up and expenditures down.

With the coming of the Christmas season, Santa Claus is hard at work greeting children and their parents in both downtown Brainerd and the Brainerd Mall.

A special feature at the St. Paul Episcopal Guild Christmas Tea and Bazaar Nov. 29, will be the Washington High School choir, under the direction of Curtis Hansen. Miss Nikki Smith will give a Christmas reading.
