Honduras presentation at CLC

Jennifer Wilson will present images from her mission trip to Honduras at noon Dec. 4 in Room E 203 at Central Lakes College. The presentation is part of the Cultural Thursdays series. Admission is free.

Wilson, a pastor at Lord of Life Lutheran Church in Baxter, spent nine days in February with a mission team in Honduras. They were helping rebuild the country that had been devastated by Hurricane Mitch in 1998.

"The village we were scheduled to serve in, El Porvenir, was impassable by road because of heavy rainfall in the month of January," Wilson said. "Mud was up to their knees."
