ROYALTON -- Eleanor Elizabeth Kroll, 90, Royalton, died Saturday, Nov. 24, 2001, at St. Gabriel's Hospital in Little Falls.
She was born Nov. 16, 1911, in Bellevue Township to Frank and Anna (Schlichting) Kalis. She married Roman Kroll on Nov. 8, 1932. They farmed in Bellevue Township and retired in 1972. They moved to Royalton. She moved to the Alverna Apartments in Little Falls in 1999. She was a member of Rosary Sodality at Holy Trinity Catholic Church and Christian Mothers.
Survivors include a son, David Kroll, Royalton; five daughters, Regina Klisch, Minneapolis, Dorthy Jambor, Oakdale, Delephine Trutwin, Holdingford, Annette Lampert, Bowlus, and Ione Sauer, Pierz; 31 grandchildren; 26 great-grandchildren; a brother, Frank Kalis, Bowlus; and a sister, Cordelia Prokott, Bowlus.
Her husband, two sons, Raymond and Eugene, a daughter, Theresa Kroll, three brothers, John, George and Alois Kalis, and four sisters, Margeret Posterick, Martha Zack, Helen Billig and Susan Janski, died earlier.
Services will be 1 p.m. Wednesday at Holy Trinity Catholic Church in Royalton with Father Laurn Virnig officiating. Burial will be in Holy Trinity Parish Cemetery in Royalton.
Friends may call from 4-8 p.m. Tuesday at Brenny-Karlinski Funeral Home in Royalton with Christian Mothers praying the rosary at 4:30 p.m. followed by parish prayers at 6:30 p.m. and from 11 a.m. until the time of services Wednesday at the funeral home.
