Eunice (Hovda) Werts

Eunice (Hovda) Werts passed away into the arms of her savior on Sunday, Nov. 22, 2009, at noon at St. Joseph's Medical Center in Brainerd.

She is survived by her husband, Harold; daughter, Sandi (Gary) Erickson, Crosby area; grandchildren, Jason (Kelly) Erickson, Deerwood, Jennifer (Keith) Ahonen, Brainerd; great-grandchildren, Kobe and Karleen Ahonen, Brainerd, Landon and Leah Erickson, Deerwood; also survived by two sisters, Barbara Hovda, Brainerd, and Audrey (Walter) Binder, Spencer, Neb.; and one brother, Eugene (Marge) Hovda, Payson, Ariz.; and numerous nephews, nieces and first cousins.

She was preceded in death by her parents; the Rev. and Mrs. L.M. Hovda; one sister; and three brothers.

Eunice is being cremated with interment at Minnesota State Veterans Cemetery in Camp Ripley. Private family services are being held.

Arrangements are with the Halvorson-Johnson Funeral Home and Cremation Services in Brainerd.
