Billie Jo Lilyquist, unsuccessful candidate in that election, filed a complaint Nov. 9 with the Office of Administrative Hearings, alleging Patsy Bernhjelm, Tony Gross, Jo Boblett and Superintendent Mike Doro violated one or more sections of state election law.
The Minnesota Office of Administrative Hearings on Nov. 16 issued a notice of and order for pre-hearing conference and evidentiary hearing.
The administrative office will contact the complainant, Lilyquist, and the four respondents before Dec. 2 to establish a telephone number to reach them the date and time of hearing.
Should an evidentiary hearing be scheduled following the pre-hearing conference, that hearing will be 9:30 a.m. Dec. 17 at the Office of Administrative Hearings in Minneapolis. Participants in the case may choose during the pre-hearing conference to have the evidentiary hearing held by telephone or video conferencing rather than in Minneapolis.
Administrative Law Judges George Beck, Allan Klein and Barbara Neilson have been assigned to the case.
