In response to the person who wants the stakes removed from Baxter yards, first of all, at no point should anyone be going fast enough to be sliding into people's yards to hit these stakes. I don't want you anywhere near my home. Secondly, I don't see the city of Baxter out in my neighborhood repairing the two- to three-foot areas of grass missing every year in the front of my house. If we shouldn't worry about it, we won't worry about mowing it either. I'm sure you'll be the first to have an issue with that, too.
(The Vox Pop Department of World Peace sees a new challenge.)
If you people think the library is a scary place, try the court administrator's office.
There ya go
Whatever happened to thank you? In every store today, I was handed my receipt with a "there ya go." I wanted to ask the clerk, "Don't you mean thank you?" Thank you for choosing this store to spend your hard-earned money at. Thank you for keeping me employed - as store after store in the area is closing. So here's the challenge I give to the shoppers as you go about your shopping this season, take note of how many times you get a "thank you" or just a "there ya go."
Brainerd Public Library
I've never had a problem with the Brainerd Public Library but I do have a problem with every citizen in the county having to pay for it. It's the Brainerd Public Library and Brainerd should pay for it.
