Sidonia Hagstrom
Sidonia Hagstrom, age 78, resident of Brainerd, died Thursday, Nov. 20, 2003, at Bethany Good Samaritan Village in Brainerd. She was born March 25, 1925, in Lake Lillian, Minn., to Otto and Yetive (Vernon) Hackbarth. She grew up on a farm and loved farming and gardening. She was a longtime resident of the Brainerd area. She was a longtime resident and volunteer at the North Star Apartments. She was a member of First Lutheran Church.
Survivors include daughters, Becky Lapka of Brainerd, and Barbara Bahr and Ralph Magnuson of Belle Plain; seven grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; brothers Lewis Hackbarth, Otto Jr. Hackbarth, Herbert (Sonny) Hackbarth and Clifford Hackbarth; and sisters Ardell Novotny, Irene Eschenback-er, Betty Nelson, Helen Vaughan and Roxanne Benson.
Preceded in death by her parents and grandson, Jerome Bahr.
Funeral services will be held 2 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 25, at First Lutheran Church in Brainerd with the Rev. Andy Smith officiating. Visitation times are from noon until the time of services Tuesday at the church.
