Lorraine L. Erickson
Lorraine L. Erickson, 82, Brainerd, died Wednesday, Nov. 20, 2002, at St. Joseph's Medical Center in Brainerd.
She was born July 29, 1920, in Brainerd to John E. and Louise C. (Weber) Engel. She married Albert "Babs" N. Erickson on Feb. 14, 1948, in Brainerd. She was a secretary at Brainerd Water and Light for more than 30 years until her retirement. She was a member of Zion Lutheran Church in Brainerd. She was in the Ladies Aid, the Ladies Guild and the 50 and Over Club.
Survivors include her nieces and nephews, Joyce Rademaker, Outing, Darlene Gates, Tom Malloy, Jo Ann Gangestad, John Malloy and Mary Maleski, all of Brainerd, and David Engel, California.
Her husband; two brothers, Harold and LeRoy; and a sister, Alice, died earlier.
Services will be 11 a.m. Saturday at Zion Lutheran Church in Brainerd with Pastor Paul Biegner officiating. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery in Brainerd.
Friends may call from 5-8 p.m. today at Halvorson-Johnson Funeral Home in Brainerd and an hour before services Saturday at the church.
