Churches

A make and take fun activity will take place from 1 to 4 p.m. Saturday at the First Congregational United Church of Christ in Brainerd. This is a children's activity at no cost to the participants. Each child will be given a choice of four projects to make, all having to do with the spirit of the seasons. All young people are invited. Call Elissa Grater at 831-3043 for more details.

Breakfast brunch

St. John's parish will host a breakfast brunch from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Dec. 1 at the parish center in Lastrup. Tickets can be purchased at the door. Adults, $5; ages 6-12, $3; under 6, free.

Dinner and silent auction

The Living Savior Lutheran Church in Lake Shore will have a beef stroganoff dinner and silent auction from 6 to 8 p.m. Saturday with a freewill offering. Board games and cards will follow the dinner. Those who attend may place bids for the silent auction at any time. Items to be auctioned are float-plane ride, hand-painted canvas floor cloth, gift certificates, Christmas items, etc. All proceeds will benefit the youth program at Living Savior.

Wild game feed

There will be a wild game feed from noon to 3 p.m. Sunday at St. Francis Church Hall with a freewill offering. Minimum of $5 per person is suggested.

24th annual Christmas bazaar

St. Mary's Church in Little Falls will have its 24th annual Christmas bazaar from 8 a.m. to 7 p.m. Saturday and 9 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Sunday. The event will include raffles, cake walks, candy, crafts, games, plants, produce, trinkets and books. Hot sandwiches and chips for $1.50 will be available Saturday. There will be a Sunday brunch from 9 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. featuring eggs, two meats, rolls, potatoes, fruit, juice and coffee. Cost is $5 for adults; $3 for ages 4-12; and free for kids under 4.
