CUSHING - Funeral services will be at 4:30 p.m. on Sunday, Nov. 22, 2009, at Williams Dingmann Family Funeral Homes, St. Cloud, for Lloyd Cyril Hall, who died on Tuesday, Nov. 17, 2009, at St. Cloud Hospital. Friends and relatives may call from 2-4:30 p.m. on Sunday at the funeral home. The Rev. Al Stangl will officiate.
Lloyd was born to the late Cyril and Veronica (Trader) Hall in St. Cloud. He married Joan Hockert on Sept. 13, 1948, at St. Augustine's Catholic Church in St. Cloud. Lloyd was a resident of Lake Alexander for the past 40 years. He began his employment as a brakeman, then a fireman and spent the majority of his employment as an engineer until he retired after 40 years from the Great Northern/Burlington Northern Railroads. Lloyd loved fishing, collecting antique cars and especially spending time with his grandchildren.
Lloyd is survived by his wife, Joan; children, Pat (Ann), of Deer Park, Wis., Jeff (Michele Wallace), of Woodland Hills, Calif., and Joy (Jim) Arneson, of Kodiak, Alaska; grandchildren, Eric Hall, Alex Arneson, Halley Arneson, Phoebe Hall and Camille Hall. He was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Milton.
In lieu of flowers memorials are preferred to CentraCare Heart Foundation.
