BAXTER - Renovations to the building housing Papa Murphy's and Jewel's Specialty Food Market were completed this fall.

"I'm very tickled with the way it looks," said building and Papa Murphy's business owner Joel Meyer.

Meyer said he wanted to create a look that updated the building on Fairview Road near Super One Foods and made it look as though it belonged up north.

Renovation work included local contractors for cement, electrical and paving work. Meyer said business remained strong even through the construction.

Through the recession, Meyer said business has been steady.

He said he hopes the facelift to the building will encourage customers to give the business a second look. Work to remodel the interior may be in the works in six months to a year.
