GRAND RAPIDS -- The Grand Rapids Players will host an encore performance of three one-act comedies -- "Two Wives and a Dead Guy" by Cynthia and Roy C. Booth of Bovey, "The Glovers Mange Cure Caper" by Louise Bottrell of Walker and Roy C. Booth, and "Caf a la Ionesco" by Roy C. Booth.
During the October running of these shows, the Players drew audiences from all over Minnesota, as well as out of state. Guests included Darlene Elliott-Phillips from Indianapolis, Ind., and Joyce Elliott-Ronk of Pesotum, Ill. When Bottrell and Booth wrote "Glovers," Bottrell was writing about her real life friends, Elliott-Phillips and Elliott-Ronk.
Performances will be 7:30 p.m. Nov. 30 at the Myles Reif Performing Arts Center. Tickets are at Reed Drug, the Reif box office and at the door.
