At the seventh annual Hospice Appreciation Brunch Tuesday, Director Kathy Zard announced that the Tree of Life program had raised $792 to fund home care for terminally ill patients.

City crews this forenoon began putting up Christmas decorations to signal the beginning of the Yuletide season. There was definitely a Christmas crispness in the air as temperatures flirted near the zero mark.
