Kim Carper was named most valuable player in the conference
Brainerd defeated seventh-seeded Milaca 3-1, second-seeded St. Cloud Tech 3-1 and top-seeded Sauk Rapids 3-1 Nov. 10 at Little Falls Bowling Center to advance to the state tournament Dec. 1 at AMF Earl Brown Bowl in Brooklyn Center.
Mitch Schueller, Mike Holmes and Kim Carper led the Warriors against Milaca with 87.5-, 87.5- and 81.8-percent fills.
Against Tech, Holmes and Will Bassett led Brainerd with 90- and 80-percent fills.

Carper and Holmes led the way against Sauk Rapids with 91.6- and 87.5-percent fills.
Carper was named the most valuable player in the conference. She had 89.14-percent fills, filling 156 of 175 possible frames, including 90 strikes.
Other all-conference players included Cole Dingmann and Grant Tuner of Sauk Rapids, Joe Pekema and Tyler Gerads of St. Cloud Apollo, Zach Fladmark of Tech, Tyler Roles of St. Cloud Cathedral and Ashly Zormeier of Sartell.
