New exhibit at county museum

In honor of the state's 150th year, the Crow Wing County Historical Society/Museum is joining in the celebration with a special exhibit.

In honor of the state's 150th year, the Crow Wing County Historical Society's exhibit, "150 years ... A Walk into the Past," features more than 200 photos of Crow Wing County history. The exhibit, "150 years ... A Walk into the Past," features more than 200 photos of Crow Wing County history. Included in the display are photos of lumber industry, mining, railroads, resorts, schools and much more. The museum and restored sheriff's residence is in the old county jail at 320 Laurel St. in Brainerd next to the courthouse. Hours are 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Tuesdays through Saturdays.It is closed major holiday weekends.
