APPLE VALLEY -- Harold "Swede" Walter Prekker Jr., age 45, of Apple Valley, formerly of Deerwood, died on Nov. 5, 2004, in Alexandria, Egypt.
He was born on Nov. 30, 1958, in Montevideo, Minn., to Harold and Karen (Magnusson) Prekker Sr. He is a U.S. Navy veteran.
He is survived by his wife, Rasha; mother, Karen Prekker, of Apple Valley; two daughters, Peggy Cockerham and Dana Little, of Everett, Wash.; eight sisters, Charlie Baxter, of Milaca, Jody (Dave) Kraby, Harrisburg, Pa., Karen (Butch) Randall, Conroe, Texas, Kathy Cottrell, Apple Valley, Jeri (Dennis) Sowada, Sauk Rapids, June Beck, Elk River, Sue Lampton, Gastonia, N.C., Patti (Sam) Smith, Scotland, UK; brothers, Bill (Heidi) Prekker, Annapolis Junction, Md., Gene (Linda) Prekker, South St. Paul, Minn.; two grandchildren, Naomi and Matthew. He is preceded in death by father, Harold "Bud" Prekker Sr., and a brother, Gary, in 1967.
Funeral services will be 11 a.m. on Monday at St. Joseph's Catholic Church, Deerwood. Burial will be at the St. Paul Catholic Cemetery, Sauk Center. Friends may call on Monday one hour prior to services at the church. Arrangements are with the Koop Funeral Home in Crosby.
