Man hit by shotgun slug west of Little Falls

LITTLE FALLS -- The Morrison County Sheriff's Department reported a man was shot in the leg by a shotgun slug Monday in Pike Creek Township, just west of Little Falls.

The incident was reported at 12:32 p.m., the sheriff's department reported. No information was available on the extent of the man's injuries, the sheriff's department said.

DNR conservation officer Joyce Kuske was called to investigate. Kuske could not be reached for comment this morning.
