Patti Sawyer
BAXTER - Patti Sawyer, age 52, resident of Baxter, died Saturday, Nov. 15, 2008, at her home. Patti was born in Minneapolis on July 27, 1956, to Clarence and Betty Lou (Haugland) Sawyer. She has been a former resident of Maple Grove and Minneapolis prior to moving to the Brainerd area in 1997. She was an Osseo (Minn.) High School graduate. Patti was the administrative vice president of Stewart's Forest Products in Fort Ripley, Minn.
Survivors include her life partner, Peg Myers; her siblings, Bob, Judy, Tom and Jim (Jenni) Sawyer; nieces and nephews, Ellie, Robin, Nick, Camden, Tony and Mahli.
She was preceded in death by her parents and an infant sister Sandra.
Patti's long and courageous battle with leukemia has come to a peaceful end. Her loving, gentle spirit and heroism will live on in our hearts forever.
Memorial services will be 2 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 20, 2008, at the First Congregational Church in Brainerd with the Rev. Deborah Celley officiating. Visitation will be 5-8 p.m. Tuesday at Nelson-Doran Funeral Home in Brainerd.
Memorials are preferred to the American Cancer Society, Hope Lodge, Minneapolis.
