The Crow Wing County Health Department will offer public walk-in influenza clinics from 10-11:30 a.m. Tuesday at St. Alice Church, 30904 Old Highway 371, Pequot Lakes, and from 1-2 p.m. at Breezy Point Resort front desk area, 9252 Breezy Point Drive, Breezy Point.
Flu Fridays are from 9-11 a.m. and 1-4 p.m. Nov. 30 at the Crow Wing County Health Department, 204 Laurel St., Brainerd.
Public clinics are open to anyone age 6 months or older. No appointment is necessary. Cost is $20 per vaccination or CWCHD will bill Medicare Part B, Medical Assistance or MinnesotaCare if you bring your card. Some $5 vaccines may be available for children age 6 months-18 years who meet the Minnesota Vaccines for Children eligibility guidelines.
A school walk-in influenza clinic will be offered from 3-4:30 p.m. Nov. 29 at Crosby-Ironton school. School clinics are open to students and their families. Flu shots will be given and FluMist may be offered if available.

DiGiovanni benefit scheduled Sunday
LEADER - A spaghetti dinner and auction for Roy DiGiovanni, a member of the Staples-Motley School Board and area farmer, will be at 1 p.m. Sunday at Bear's Den in Leader. He was injured in a farm accident in late September that required several weeks of hospitalization.
DiGiovanni has served on the school board for 14 years. His wife Pat is a second-grade teacher. The benefit dinner is hosted by the employees of the S-M school district. Bear's Den is 13.5 miles north of Motley off State Highway 64 at 7063 76th St. To donate auction items, call (218) 894-2430.
