'My Favorite Book'

Brainerd Police Officer Troy Schreifels read Friday from "My Favorite Book" to first-graders in Mary Schloemer's room at Riverside Elementary School in Brainerd. "My Favorite Book" is published by Goodwill Publishers and is distributed to more than 45,000 children in 240 Minnesota communities this year. The book is sponsored by local businesses and promotes the importance of family, taking personal responsibility, kindness and compassion, cooperation, honesty and respect for others.
