PILLAGER -- Three people were injured in a two-vehicle crash Thursday on the East River Road in Pillager, according to the Morrison County Sheriff's Department.
Driver James Amerud, 19, Brainerd, was injured and transferred to North Memorial Medical Center in Minneapolis. He was listed in fair condition today.
The passenger in Amerud's vehicle was Kimberly Johnson, 18, Brainerd, who was transferred to St. Joseph's Medical Center in Brainerd. Her condition is unknown.
The driver of the second vehicle was Douglas Rogers, 22, Motley. Rogers was taken to St. Joseph's Medical Center in Brainerd and treated and released.
The sheriff's department said Rogers' vehicle was eastbound on East River Road while Amerud's vehicle was westbound when Rogers apparently lost control of the vehicle on a curve and collided with Amerud's vehicle.
The accident was reported at 5:15 p.m.
Teen hurt
PILLAGER -- A 16-year-old Pillager girl suffered minor injuries in a one-vehicle rollover that occurred at 9:13 a.m. Thursday on Highway 10, four miles south of Motley.
Amanda LaPlant, 16, Pillager, was transferred to the Greater Staples Hospital where she was treated and released, according to the State Patrol.
