MINNEAPOLIS -- Florence M. Lindman, 84, Minneapolis, formerly of Pillager, died Tuesday, Nov. 12, 2002, at Bethany Covenant Home in Minneapolis.
She was born Feb. 1, 1918, in Duluth to Peter and Maria (Person) Lindstrom. She graduated from Denfeld High School in Duluth. She received an associate in arts degree from Bethel College and graduated from Bethel Seminary in St. Paul with a bachelor's degree in theology. She married Pastor Carl Lindman. They served churches together in Pillager as well as in Anchorage and Soldotna, Alaska. She was a member of First Baptist Church in Pillager.
Survivors include her husband; two sons, Robert Lindman, Lino Lakes, and Gary Lindman, Soldotna, Alaska; two daughters, Barbara Lindman, Shoreview, and Mary Carlson, Mounds View; three grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and a sister, Anne Stone, Pasadena, Calif.
Three sisters and two brothers died earlier.
Services will be 2 p.m. Saturday at Assemblies of God Church in Pillager with Pastor Robert Osell of First Baptist Church officiating. Burial will be in Wildwood Cemetery in Pillager.
Friends may call from 12:30-2 p.m. Saturday at the church.
