Barbara A. Johnson

DEERWOOD -- Barbara Annetta Johnson, 89, Deerwood, died Tuesday, Nov. 14, 2000, at Cuyuna Regional Care Center of Crosby.

She was born Sept. 20, 1911, in Bay Lake Township to Abraham and Karen (Skau) Christeansen. She married Roy Edward Johnson on June 14, 1941, in Deerwood. She was a member of the Salem Lutheran Church of Deerwood.

Survivors include four sons, David Johnson, Elk River, Richard Johnson, Deerwood, Dale Johnson, Deerwood, and Robert Johnson, Champlin; 12 grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and three sisters, Bernice Reem, Riverton, Dorothy Stinson, Bay Lake, and Clarice Lueck, Deerwood.

Her husband, two brothers, Godford and Chester, and a sister, Viola Olson, died earlier.

Services will be 2 p.m. Sunday at Salem Lutheran Church of Deerwood with David N. Anderson officiating. Burial will be in Deerwood Scandia Cemetery.

Friends may call from 4-8 p.m. Saturday at Koop Funeral Home of Crosby and an hour before services Sunday at the church.
