LITTLE FALLS -- Latona's Thirst, an acoustic duo featuring identical twins, will appear in the Great River Arts Association's House Concerts series this weekend.
The Twin Cities-based sisters will open at 7:30 p.m. Friday at the Pine Edge Inn in downtown Little Falls.

Classically trained, the twins "mix sophisticated lyrics and iridescent harmonies to produce a unique style of music that defines their music," GRAA said in a news release.
The duo's debut album "Whisper," produced at Oarfin Records of Minneapolis and released last year, has gained a wide following among the region's folk music fans, the release said.
Now the group is focusing on live performances across the region to promote the album, a strategy that includes Latona's Thirst's first appearance in Little Falls.
In 2001 Latona's Thirst was featured at a major Fine Line Music Caf event as "one of the top bands in the Twin Cities," the release said.
The sisters usually appear in concert with a full band, but on this stop will perform as an acoustic duo, the release said, "satisfying admirers with their more mellow and moody music."
Admission for the Little Falls concert is $8 for adults, $6 for students and senior citizens, and $3 for children under 12, available at the gate. Call (320) 632-0960 for additional details.
