Brainerd Kiwanis Club announces officers
The Brainerd Kiwanis Club recently announced the officers who will serve from 2007-08 beginning Oct. 1.
They are: Anita Supinski, president; Mike Lambert, president-elect; Mike Dillon, vice president/sgt. at arms; Andrew Miles, secretary; and Steve Dickinson, treasurer.
Board members for 2007-08 will be Mary Pederson, Joy Larson, Cliff Hess, Jim Tousignant, Mike Hueberger and Gary Bluth.
The Brainerd Kiwanis Club is part of a global organization of volunteers dedicated to changing the world one child and one community at a time.
The Brainerd Club is an active club committed to addressing the needs of children in the Brainerd lakes area as well as other needs within the community. Some of the service projects include the Kiwanis Park, Kiwanis Community Clean-Up Blitz, the B.U.G. (Bringing Up Grades) Program for elementary students, supporting safety and recreational programs for youths, literacy through reading and donations of books to young children and more.
The Kiwanis Club meets at noon Mondays at the Ramada Inn in Brainerd.
