BRANSON, Mo. -- Lloyd Eugene George, 77, of Ironton, died Nov. 10, 2004, at the Scaggs Community Medical Center in Branson, Mo. He was born July 6, 1927, in Ironton to Arthur and Inez (Smith) George. He was a U.S. Navy veteran serving in WWII. He married Bonnie L. (Emmert) Anderson on Aug. 6, 1993, in Sisseton, S.D. He is survived by his wife, Bonnie; one son, Danny George, Grants Pass, Ore.; two stepsons, George R. Anderson and Howard Anderson, both of Crosby; two stepdaughters, Mabel (Mrs. Dwight) Semler, Crosby; Audrey (Mrs. John) Korsgaard, Brainerd; one brother, Peter Peterson, Crosby; three sisters, Gladys Howe, Crosby, Yvonne Wilson, Medford, Ore., Jolene (Mrs. Richard) Johnson, Puyallap, Wash.; several stepgrandchildren and great-grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his parents, five sisters, two brothers and one stepson, Bruce Anderson.
Graveside services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the Woodland Cemetery in Irondale Township with military rites by the Myrin James American Legion Post, Ironton. Friends may call on Tuesday at the Koop Funeral Home in Crosby from 4 to 8 p.m.
