Public forum on county comp plan set today

A public forum on the draft of the Crow Wing County comprehensive plan will be 7 p.m. today in the Central Lakes College cafeteria.
Crow Wing County Planner Bonnie Finnerty will present a draft of the plan, which addresses agricultural land use, economic development, parks, recreation, open space and housing.
Before Jan. 1, the Crow Wing County Planning Commission and the county board are expected to have adopted the complete and final plan.
The forum is sponsored by the League of Women Voters of the Brainerd Lakes Area, The Brainerd Dispatch and The Rosenmeier Center.
