CROSBY -- The Crosby-Ironton Senior Citizens Club elected officers Saturday.
Dolores Swanson was elected president with her term to start in January. Serving with her will be vice president Doris Danielson, secretary Lorraine Peterson and treasurer Kaye Frey.
The club voted to have the First Avenue Cafe in Crosby cater its Christmas dinner set for 11:30 a.m. Dec. 14. Members will pay $4 and guests will pay the full price of $7.

Learn to make diamond four-patch quilt
STAPLES -- Staples Motley Community Education will offer a quilting class on diamond shapes.
The class with Lorna will run 5 to 9 p.m. Dec. 6 and 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Dec. 7 at the Farm Quilt Haus.
