Medeck, Raiders honored

Head coach Greg Medeck of Central Lakes College and 15 Raider players were honored by the Minnesota College Athletic Conference Wednesday.

Medeck was named Southern Division coach of the year.

Five Raiders made the MCAC All-Southern Division first team, including Karl Hunt, DB, Kimball; Tyler Erickson, WR, St. Cloud Apollo; Dennis Taute, RB, Milaca; Kyle Crozon, DL, Eden Valley-Watkins; Lawson Starr, DB, Osseo.

CLC plays Ellsworth Community College of Iowa in the Graphic Edge Bowl on Nov. 22 at the UNI Dome on the campus of the University of Northern Iowa in Cedar Falls. The Raiders are ranked 10th in the NJCAA/JC Football.com poll, Ellsworth is tied for 14th.
