Lillian Postel

MOTLEY - Lillian Postel, 87, of Motley, died Nov. 9, 2009, at Harmony House. Services will be Nov. 14 at 2:30 p.m. at Motley United Methodist Church. Visitation is one hour prior to services. Burial will be at Motley Public Cemetery. Arrangements by Brenny Funeral Home, Staples.

Lillian Anna Postel was born Aug. 18, 1922, in Winthrop, Iowa, the daughter of Bert and Ruth Hamilton. Lillian was a recreational therapist at Camp Confidence and the state hospital. She was an Iowa Republican Women's Delegate, on the Lakewood Hospital Board and a 4-H leader.

Lillian was preceded in death by her parents; three brothers; and husband, Bill.

Lillian is survived by her children, Allan Carson, Linda King, Arlene English and Molly Cullom; brother, Gilbert Hamilton; seven grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
