Georgina 'Gina' M. Braverman
Georgina "Gina" M. Bakkila Braverman, 30, Brainerd, died Wednesday, Oct. 30, 2002, as the result of a motor vehicle accident.
She was born June 5, 1972, in Brainerd to Maurice "Bill" and Vickie (O'Day) Bakkila. She attended Brainerd High School. She married David Shane Braverman on April 21, 1994. She was a home health care provider with Good Neighbor.
Survivors include her husband; two daughters, Nichelle and Victoria, both of Brainerd; a son, Ronald, Brainerd; her parents, Brainerd; two brothers, Maurice "Bud" Bakkila, Pillager, and Robert Bakkila, Brainerd; two sisters, Debra Carlson and Rachel Bakkila, both of Brainerd; and her grandparents, Elaine and Wilford Neugebaur and Edwin O'Day, all of Brainerd.
Her brother, John Bakkila, and her grandmother, Rachel O'Day, died earlier.
Services will be 2 p.m. Wednesday at Church of the Nazarene in Brainerd with Pastor Sam Storkson officiating. Burial will be private. Memorials are preferred to Bremer Bank, in care of the Braverman children.
Friends may call an hour before services Wednesday at the church.
