-- Vladimir Orszagh, Predators, scored the winning goal in the third period of Nashville's 4-3 victory over Colorado.

-- Jean-Sebastien Giguere, Mighty Ducks, had 26 saves in his first shutout of the season, a 1-0 win over Minnesota.

OPEN HOUSE

Colorado fell to 0-4-3-1 at home this season -- the worst home start in the franchise's 24-year history, with Sunday's 4-3 loss to Nashville.

SNAPPED

The New York Islanders' 3-2 win over Dallas on Sunday snapped the Stars' six-game unbeaten streak (5-0-0-1) on Long Island. The Stars' last loss in Uniondale was a 5-3 decision on Feb. 4, 1996. ... Nashville won for the first time in 13 road games (0-6-2-4) dating to last season with it's 4-3 win in Colorado.

STRONG IN DEFEAT

Jere Lehtinen had both goals for Dallas in Sunday's 3-2 to the New York Islanders. The Stars lost for the first time in four games.

MINNESOTA MILD

Minnesota is 3-for-29 on the power play in its last six games./ The Wild were 0-for-3 Sunday in a 1-0 loss in Anaheim.
