Mara Patricia Prusak recently graduated from the nurse anesthesia program at St. Mary's University-Twin Cities.

Molly Peterson, Pine River, received a Freshman Honor scholarship while attending the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire.

Bradley Knapp, Avon, Sean Berens, Brainerd, Bradley Mullen, Underwood, and Jennifer Hardy, Pine River, recently received scholarships from the Brainerd Lakes Chapter of the Minnesota Darkhouse and Angling Association for 2009. All the recipients are second year students in the Central Lakes College natural resources program.

Knapp plans to further his education at a four-year college and will seek a career in wildlife management.

Sean Berens

Berens is an academic achievement award student. He is active in many organizations and projects involving natural resources. He plans to achieve a four-year degree and to work in natural resource management.

Mullen is concentrating on the natural resources law enforcement at CLC. His aim is to become a Minnesota conservation officer.

Bradley Knapp

Hardy plans to continue her natural resource education at the University of Minnesota at Crookston. She hopes to work for a parks service in natural resource management.
